Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of 6footmedia LLC d/b/a CV Refinery ("CV Refinery", "we", "us", or "our"). By using the Service you agree to these Terms.

If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.

• You must be at least 16 years old and able to form a binding contract.
• You are responsible for your account and for maintaining the security of your credentials.
• We may update, change, or discontinue features at any time to improve the Service.

You own your content. That includes resumes, job descriptions, facts, and other materials you upload or create in the Service ("Your Content"). You give us permission to process Your Content solely to operate and improve the Service for you, such as generating insights and storing your Knowledge Base.

You are responsible for ensuring you have the rights to upload and use Your Content, and for complying with any confidentiality or contractual obligations.

We respect your privacy. We do not sell or trade your personal information. Not now, not ever.

We may use non‑personally identifiable information (non‑PII) in aggregate and de‑identified form to improve and operate the Service. For example, we may analyze anonymized usage patterns or model performance across users. Aggregate or de‑identified data cannot reasonably be linked back to you.

Our Privacy Policy explains what we collect, how we use it, how long we retain it, and how you can access, edit, or permanently delete information stored in your Knowledge Base.

• Do not upload unlawful, infringing, or malicious content.
• Do not attempt to breach, probe, or disrupt the Service or other users.
• Do not misuse the Service to generate harmful, deceptive, or abusive outputs.

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non‑infringement.

We do not warrant or guarantee employment outcomes. Specifically, we cannot and do not warrant that any resume or application materials created, optimized, or generated through the Service will result in:

• Different treatment or consideration compared to other resumes or candidates;
• Requests for interviews, callbacks, or any form of contact from employers;
• Job offers, employment, or any other hiring decisions.

All hiring and employment decisions are made solely by employers based on their own criteria, immediate business needs, organizational requirements, candidate qualifications, and other factors entirely outside our control. Your success in the job market depends on numerous variables including but not limited to: your skills, experience, qualifications, market conditions, employer preferences, and timing.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, CV Refinery and its affiliates will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages, or for lost profits, revenues, or data, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

You can stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms. Upon termination, you may request a copy of your data where technically feasible, and you can permanently delete your Knowledge Base items per the Privacy Policy.

We may update these Terms from time to time. The updated version will be indicated by a revised "Last updated" date and will be effective when posted.
