Add roles and fuel precise tailoring

Bring in new job postings with AI extraction or manual entry so every analysis compares against the source role requirements.

How jobs power analysis

The job posting is the ground truth the model mirrors.

  • Responsibilities and requirements feed directly into analysis prompts.
  • Employer terminology becomes the vocabulary used to match resume bullets.
  • Missing data (location, employment type) weakens matching—fill it in when available.
Paste full text when URLs are gated
If the role is behind a login, paste the full description so the model has complete context. Then run analysis or tailoring.

Add a job with AI

Let AI extract the essentials from URLs, text, or files.

  1. Navigate to Jobs.
  2. Click Add Job and choose AI Import.
  3. Choose your import method: URL, Text, or File
  4. Review the extracted title, company, location, seniority, and key requirements.
  5. Save. The job now appears in your pipeline with parsed description and requirements.

Tips & troubleshooting

Improve parsing quality and tailoring outcomes.

  • If AI extraction misses fields, paste the full description manually and save—then re-tailor.
  • Use public job URLs when possible so parsing captures the full page.
  • Keep at least one master resume updated; tailoring works best from a strong base.
  • For highly technical jobs, include keywords in a short note on the job before tailoring to reinforce context.
